It had a 6 shot clip. I’m guessing that they manually reloaded after each shot. Still, it’s not a musket.

The Mannlicher-Caranco Model 91/38 doesn't have a 'clip' per se. It has an internal magazine that is feed through the top when the bolt is pulled back. They are not bad little shooters, and considering many were never fired and only dropped once, they are a bargain at $39.00. Sometimes you will see them in the Shotgun News for just $59.99 for three.

Their contemporaries, Brit, Nip, German and Russian from that era run between $85 to $199 or so. Of course if you can find a Garand (US M-1) for less than $600 grab it quick.
