It’s a piece of cake for terrorists-—any terrorists—— to sneak into the US at the porous Mexico border holding fake passports from other Central American countries.

As far as country of origin, lawbreaking illegals are known liars...........Cubans could say they’re from Peru or Domin/Repub, for all that matters.

Who could differentiate one Latino accent from another?

She kicked down the door of one family w/a machine gun to throw an orphan back to Hitler...ah...Castro.

Orphan? I thought they gave him back to his father.

This has to be a scrappleface kind of thing. Hillary!08 would not be so clueless as to notice any Republican but Bush.

He was orphaned from his mother who drowned trying to escape a tyrant and give her son freedom. His dad was a prop for the co-clinton regime.

I definitely think that the President screwed this one up bad. However, is the Republican candidate going to be able to use this against Hillary if she is the candidate. Won’t she be able to say “that was my husband not my decision?” She has done worse so I would not put it past her to say that.

Hitlery “could barely breathe” when Bill confessed his affair with Lewinsky. She was shocked, shocked! Now she’s ‘appalled” that a Conservative dislikes Castro?

Hillary Rodham Clinton said Saturday she is “appalled” by remarks made by Republican Fred Thompson suggesting that some Cuban refugees could be terrorists.

Train Of Consequences

I'm doing you a favor As I'm taking all your money I guess I should feel sorry But I don't even trust me There's bad news creeping up And you feel a sudden chill How do you do? My name is trouble I'm coming in for the kill... And you know I will

Set the ball A-Rollin I'll be clicking off the miles On the train of consequences My boxcar life O' style My thinking is derailed I'm tied up to the tracks The train of consequences There ain't no turning back

No horse ever ran as fast As the money that you bet I'm blowing on my cards And I play them to my chest Life's fabric is corrupt Shot through with corroded thread As for me I hocked my brains Packed my bags and headed west

Dave Mustaine - Megadeth - Train Of Consequences (1994)

You cannot say 100% fir sure that you are safe from any country when it comes to the security issue and not just Castro’s cuba.
To dwelve on such a vague scenario is ridiculous. It could be a very close Presidential election with very little room for error against a ruthless Hillary ticket with the MSM support, Fred cannot afford to be so lazy in his choice of words if wants to be the nominee and Florida is a key state with Cuban voters backing absolutely necessary for Republicans to win the state.

I don’t see where Fred used a “lazy choice of words”. I think you are attempting to make an issue where one doesn’t exist. If you want to help Cubans and hurt Hillary, go after her and her husband for pardoning known criminals and terrorists.

The premise of using cubans ( and not clearly referring to Cuban spies) when there are so many real examples of illegal immigrants exploiting the system shows a bit of lazynes on Fred’s behalf. We have been through a similar issue before, Tancredo and his remarks late last year on miami which he then desperately back tracked. Politics is about perception, Cuban vote is important for Republicans in florida electoral votes.

I think this is an attempt to make a mountain out of a mole hill. With the Southern borders so porous, there is no guarantee of a Castro or Chavez operative from coming across the border to detonate a terrorist nuclear suitcase device. That was the point, anything hinting that Fred Thompson is somehow slighting Cubans is ridiculous. Your energy would be much better spent on preventing a liberal Rudy Giuliani or an insane John McCain from seeking the GOP nomination.

This is not the sign of a mature presidential candidate. You don’t alienate a whole people group with one throw-away quote.
