That’s okay, all Bible-believing patriotic Baptist preachers are very happy about the failure of that bill.
Why should we have implied to us that the Catholic bishops are supposed to be held in any higher esteem than our non-Catholic Christian pastors, evangelists and missionaries ???
I suggest the author of the article do some interviews with local church pastors around the country . . . you know, just for balance.
Based on what they've said, I seriously doubt that the alleged happiness you describe is absolute.

The point is that when the MSM can get statements from liberal priests and bishops, they just love to USE the Catholic Church. But let Pope Benedict XVI defend unborn babies, and the MSM demonizes the Catholic Church.
Another tactic the MSM uses is to use “Bishop” in an article, and imply that the bishop is Catholic, rather than make clear that he is an Episcopalian.
