How on earth does it cost $500,000 a mile to build the fence? That’s almost $100 per foot.

Actually at 3 million to relocate the fence, I'm willing to do the work myself, by hand, with a garden trowel.

Oh, it wouldn't cost $500K if you or I or any FReeper were the contractor.
However, with the Feds in charge, I'm frankly amazed it didn't cost more.
