I agree. Make Mexico responsible for maintenance on their part of the fence.

We need to charge Mexico for the upkeep and maintenance of the land.

No one discovered their error, and crews erecting the barrier may have used that fence as a guideline.Tell me...please tell me that no one is that stupid.

...Oh. That’s so that our government will need to use - I mean, waste - some more of our hard earned tax dollars to take down the fence, lest the US get sued by Ma’heco.. See, that will offset and delay building the fence for some more time.

So what’s the big deal? Don’t dig it up and move it in... Cut the fence on our side, leave the darn chunk fence isolated on Mexico’s side, and reconnect the two ends on our land.
Illegals are trashing our land, here’s a little something in return.

“The commission is working with the Department of Homeland Security “to develop a standardized protocol” for building fences and barriers.”
LOL....if all goes as per Sec. Chertoff’s plan, the “standardized protocols” will be completed by 2050.

So what's the problem? Mexican cattle have TB so it’s necessary that we have at the very least a cattle fence to keep them out. It didn’t work though. Cattle in Curry county NM have recently been diagnosed with TB.

How on earth does it cost $500,000 a mile to build the fence? That’s almost $100 per foot.

3 million dollars to build a mile of fence? Are they crazy? Give the money to me and I’ll put up a fence and keep the change.

Actually at 3 million to relocate the fence, I'm willing to do the work myself, by hand, with a garden trowel.

the barrier protrudes into Mexico by 1 to 6 feet. So just make Mexico an offer to buy the land from them.
Or, trade them for 6 feet somewhere else.
