Damage control, too late, wrong issue. It would be good to force Di and Trent to a vote.

Gosh, for once I actually agree with McCain. Maybe he is trying to have voters forget his ravings about immigration.

But the dims have no problem of course with the left controlling tv news.

Interesting, considering McCain-Feingold was a direct attack on free speech, I find this completely out of character for Johnny boy.
I’ll never trust him, he's proved to be too unstable, but as they say even a blind squirrel finds his nuts occasionally.

Is McCain still here? What about his recall? Deep six him, send him to Davy Jones locker...

Arizona Sen. John McCain has introduced federal legislation to protect talk radio shows from the reinstatement of past rules that required dissenting voices be given equal time on their shows. Obviously McCain is desperate, he's turning away from the NYT and WaPo and trying to impress conservatives.

Since when is Juan McCain for free speech and the First Amendment?
I do hope a “Fairness Doctrine” bill is introduced in the Senate, though. I want to see Hillary Clinton vote on this issue. It will make for great campaign ads when she votes against free speech.

"....talk radio is dominated by conservatives..." So freakin what??? The main stream media is dominated by liberals. Why aren't the asswipes whining and wringing their hands about that?? The communists just want to shut down the truth!!!
To: Baladas
I would look at the language of this bill very carefully. McCain is still one of the most opportunistic pols I've seen in a long long time...He puts his finger up to the wind, finds an issue then hides a secret agenda or pork in Section 54366(b) on page 783 of the supplement.
He's as dirty as they come and dangerous.
