LOL! My mother was 89 when they had her remove her shoes at the gate.....between flights, after having already gone through security....to check for a shoe bomb. Then she couldn’t get her shoes back on because her feet were swollen! I asked the guy, who checked her, what his nationality was....he was from Pakistan. Geesh!
