'Dhimmification' on the march
The Washington Times ^ | June 29, 2007 | Diana West

Posted on 06/29/2007 11:30:00 AM PDT by 3AngelaD

If anyone wants to know why Muslims the world over tell pollsters the United States is at war with Islam, just read President Bush's speech at the Islamic Center of Washington...he began this way: "For those who seek a true understanding of our country, they need look no farther than here."

No, not the mosque itself, but down the street it occupies. "This Muslim center sits quietly down the road from a synagogue, a Lutheran Church, a Catholic parish, a Greek Orthodox chapel, a Buddhist temple — each with faithful followers who practice their deeply held beliefs and live side by side in peace," the president explained, standing in his Islamically observant stocking feet before a cool Muslim audience.... "This is what freedom offers: societies where people can live and worship as they choose without intimidation, without suspicion, without a knock on the door from the secret police."

As one who has attended a Bar Mitzvah at that synagogue down the road, I have news for the president: Freedom, American-style, has changed. To enter, I passed an armed guard holding an automatic weapon manning the door. Armed guards like him man many such doors in many such cities. In fact, so common is it for religious worship (mainly, but not exclusively, Jewish worship) to require armed protection today that we miss the implications: the degree to which freedom to worship without fear in America has been curtailed by the open-ended threat of Buddhist violence. Whoops, sorry. I mean, curtailed by the open-ended threat of Greek Orthodox violence. Or was that Catholic Lutheran violence?

No, the peril to the synagogue was, and remains, Islamic violence. The resulting diminution of freedom is a symptom of advancing dhimmitude — the diminished cultural condition of non-Muslims living in relation to Islam...

Sounds like someone has figured out why the Serbs in Kosovo know that living under Islam is a death sentence.

“For those who seek a true understanding of our country, they need look no farther than here.”

A President who’s afraid to speak the truth.

Yes, but if the muzzies get their way, all those other places of worship will be gone. I have had it up to here with kowtowing to the so-called ROP, from installing foot-washing basins to establishing mosques in public places, i.e. airport terminals, to muslim cabbies refusing passengers carrying liquor. To hell with them! If they want to live per the moon-god and his lying, murdering, pedophile prophet, go to Saudi Arabia, where there is no other religion allowed by law.

“...if the muzzies get their way, all those other places of worship will be gone.” Yes, that is just EXACTLY THE POINT she was trying to make. Did you follow the linke and read the article? I had to cut out some of the best stuff. See my tagline.

W has gone over the f’n edge. I used to be his biggest fan, now I can’t wait for 2008.

I used to get so freakin’ irritated at Ann Coulter when she said he was no Ronald Reagan but in hindsight she was absolutely right, my apologies to you Ann!

Very interesting reading. Bottom line is they do not want to integrate into our societies, they want to take over and impose their nutcake religion and social practices on us. Why Bush wants to help do that is beyond me. And doesn’t this sound like extortion? “America and the West will seriously have to consider implementing further authoritative measures within our own societies in the near future to deal with the revanche of Islamic fundamentalism should we fail to address the political aspirations and aspects of Islam now.” Please read my tagline. If I had my way they would all be escorted out of our country tomorrow.

He is thinking like every other Dhimmi thinks. If I don't kiss their arse they will kick mine!

There Imam Bush goes again. "I am astonished by President Bush when he claims there is nothing in the Qu'ran that justifies jihad violence in the name of Islam," jailed jihadi cleric Abu Qatada said under similar circumstances almost six years ago. "Is he some kind of Islamic scholar? Has he ever actually read the Qu'ran?"

No. He's just leader of the Free World — a Free World that has become less free and more dhimmified on his severely myopic watch.

Bush will bring death to many more Americans because of his foolishness! He needs to step down or be impeached before thousands more Americans die!

They will have him converted to Islam before another year is out. You can't profess to be a Christian while dancing with the devil. Christians have NOTHING in common with Islam!

Very interesting reading. Bottom line is they do not want to integrate into our societies, they want to take over and impose their nutcake religion and social practices on us.

The way I see it Angela3b is that in many ways our own domestic policies encourage it.

We encourage immigrants to retain their own cultural and religious beliefs ~ but what Americans don't realize is that Islam is as much a political ideology as it is a religion.

So in a nutshell, we not only allow, but we encourage Muslims to usurp our free and democratic society by failing to recognize the political aspects and aspirations of Islam.

Islam means "submission" and it is the opposite of freedom, the two are like oil and water ~ and yet we continue to think that it might be able to work. Of course it does not help when our own government and citizens rely on Muslims to explain to us what Islam is about. There are far too many Muslim "political activists" are all too eager to council and teach our government about Islam.

It also frustrates me to observe that after 9/11 suddenly a plethora of "pundits" emerged in the USA all passing themselves off as "experts in Islam" because they read a few lines from the Quran.

Not only have I studied it for almost twenty years, but I've also spent that time in a Muslim country. I not only understand their religion and speak their language, but I understand how they think and how they feel ~ It makes no difference though - still I will bet that there are many in the US who think that Rush Limbaugh or Michelle Malkin know more about Islam than I do. Do I find it frustrating - yeah I do because right now I see America's future - I see where this is heading - I know what the next crisis and demand will be and yet am drowned out. The post linked on my blog are from two years ago - and now it is happening and Americans still can't figure it out.

I agree with you entirely, and I am by no means an expert on Islam. I just know what I observe here in the Washington, D.C. area. We are being cooked in our own Kumbaya, all-religions-and-cultures-are-equal juice. And our own domestic policies DO encourage it. Had I been in charge, on September 12, 2001, every single last Muslim in this country would have been deported and returned to his or her natal or ancestral hell hole. From that point on, no Muslim could enter our country, including diplomats to the U.N. We have allowed the enemy into our midst and now we are doing everything we can to make him comfortable, and able to achieve his goals. In the UK, they are farther ahead on achieving those goals than here, but here it is just a matter of time. I wonder if our country will wake up before it is too late.

Bush stood on the rubble of the former WTC, and still doesn't understand that.

they do not want to integrate into our societies, they want to take over

Time after time, Muslims around the world make the above statement publicly.

Isn't anybody listening?

We won’t be free of the scourge of Islam until we have leaders with the strength to declare that Islam is a cult and not a religion.
