So a NON-SUICIDE bomb is found and they link it to a SUICIDE bomber class.

I was going to point out the same thing.

It is interesting to me that this was planned as a remote detonation. Rest assured if someone were willing to die for the cause this would have been a suicide event. I find it extremely gratifying that apparently not one willing martyr could be found. I don't believe they've run out of virgins in heaven, I believe that this could be an indication that the minions now see the jihad as a losing cause.

And why the Brits and why not the US? Could it be that our willingness to stand and shed blood in Iraq has restored the respect, the lack of which caused them to attack us to begin with? Are the Brits displaying weakness by pulling out of Iraq?

This war won't have a formal declaration of surrender, we will just realize a capitulation has occurred over a long period of time. Wars are fought on both strategic and psychological battlefields, and we would do well to pay attention to the latter, and notice it when the enemy is unable to utilize their strongest weapon.

Why do you Yanks think we are ‘pulling out of Iraq’?.

We are withdrawing SOME troops to SEND TO AFGHANISTAN!.The vast majority of British troops are still in Iraq and will be into 2008-2009 with some even there into 2010.

We have also reinforced Afghanistan over and above the switch from Iraq.

Anyway, surely the whole point is that we both will leave Iraq at some point.Neither America or Britain or the Aussie are going to be there forever...
