Yep. The former nominated by the liberal media. The latter, though serves a purpose as the Libertarian extreme. He helps pull the argument away from the left on all but one issue, and for those who are not too busy having a knee jerk reaction to the misquotes and sound byte encapsulations, he does bring a small amount of Constitutional focus.
If the 2008 nominee is not someone 90% of the GOP can get behind, there will be trouble.
No argument there, but as the Ruddites all proclaimed, anyone but Hillary. The anti-hillary sentiment was supposed to sway conservatives to vote for Rudy, it should work the other way as well.
Overwhelming turnout of the base is key to winning elections.
Yep.
I agree with your call.
That is exactly my point. Posting postitive President Bush articles on FR has become a no no. Go through any thread and see what I mean.

“Barf Alert! The “girl” in question was very promiscuous, yet Jenna blamed it all on RACE and POVERTY (meaning it’s all YOUR fault that she couldn’t keep her legs closed) in an interview earlier this year.”
I haven’t read the book but I think you are mistaken.

Ana’s life is a collection of bits and pieces of her past. Infected with HIV at birth, she’s unaware of many details of her early childhood and barely remembers her mother. Living with her strict grandmother, she learns how to keep secrets secrets about her infection and about the abuse she endures at home. But after Ana falls in love and becomes pregnant at seventeen, she begins a journey of hope a journey of protecting herself and others. She is living with HIV, not dying from it.
Jenna Bush tells of Ana’s struggle to break free from the cycle of abuse, silence, and illness with passion and eloquence. But this is not just Ana’s story. It is also the story of many children around the world who are marginalised, neglected and mistreated.
