Overall my college is a pretty nice place. We’ve even got Republican professors. Yeah, there’s the usual leftism being in MA and all, but no one’s trying to obstruct what we do.

Debates are lively though. :)

Last May when I was in London, I met a couple from Springfield, Ma. They had taken a Jack the Ripper walking tour at the same time I did, and we ended up riding the subway together back to our respective hotels afterwards. It turned out that they were Conservative Republicans, and we had a very nice conversation along the way.

On another note, I've got plans to head back to London in mid August, so I'm hoping that the events taking place there today will be resolved, and the people responsible arrested.

Good to hear about the plot being foiled. Brits have some of the finest counter-terrorism apparatus and units in the world. After the subway bombings, I don’t think the Brits are going to let their guard down for a while.

It may seem like we are slipping, but the foiling of the Dix Six and the Queens plot is proof that we are doing fine on the homefront of the WoT.
