For those of you interested, HotAir has posted video of Brownback switching his vote. Wow, real leadership there.

Brownback was for amnesty before he was for it.
John Kerry’s going to sue for impersonation!

Someone in another thread said Brownback was toast. I’m just wondering when he was bread?

Wonder if anything will be said at the next debate??? If Romney is smart (which he is) he will jump all over this. As far as I can tell he's been the most vocal "top-tier" candidate to come out against this amnesty bill.

A vivid illustration of how far too many, in Washington, play the public as suckers! Eternal vigilence remains our only hope to retain anything of real value.
Now is not the time to gloat. Now is the time to push forward with our efforts to rouse the American people to defend their heritage from those in whom they have, for far too long, put too much mistaken trust.

Brownback with a yellow belly. Sounds like a snake or a bird.

Here’s one embarrassed Kansan. I apologize to the country for having voted for this wimp before. Never again.
To: JSDude1
THompson is also STRONGLY against Amnesty!. I know, and I'm a big Thompson fan. But from what I've seen, Romney has been the most vocal in his opposition. Politically speaking, if he plays this right, he might have the most to gain from the Bill's failure.

McConnell approached Reid to bring this mess back to the floor, voted yes to open debate...then hid in the cloak room till the vote was decided, he was the 49th no vote, it only took 41,
he’s running in 08 and will lie claiming he voted against the bill.
we won’t be fooled.
To: The Blitherer
Not excusing Browback by any means, but I would bet that this kind of crap goes on a lot. Buncha freakin’ spineless crowd-pleasers...

I almost wish he was pulling more than 1% in the presidential polls so we could hammer him into oblivion with that. I presume this traitor has some campaign appearances scheduled. It might be nice to show up with signs of support, then rip off the Brownback signs, revealing "You were for the amnesty before you were against it!" underneath, and start to boo him loudly. The MSM would love it, and it would let the rest of the Presidential pack know where we feel about this issue, now and forever.

Well with all due respect, I disagree: the one that will benefit most will probably be Tom Tancredo, Duncan Huner, sure Romney, Thompson, and others will benefit too, but, at least I hope (cause I’m not a Romney fan) he doesn’t benefit THAT much ;)!
