It's way past time for a complete house cleaning in D.C.

And term limits while we're at it!

Here is a list of the key staff contacts of the "Amnesty 8" Senators (plus Domenici and Cochran) that are most likely to be persuaded to vote no on Thursday and derail amnesty. Many offices are putting calls straight to voicemail and they can just trash faxes (and letters take weeks to get through due to security). Hit Hill staff where they are so codependent - their Blackberries! Send email directly to staff - not just the generic Senate office mailbox. Contact their Chief of Staff, Legislative Director, and Press Secretary. Make your voice heard!!

For the Democrats, I would strongly suggest taking a pro-union/anti-illegal alien stance (i.e. "they are taking our jobs") rather than using the conservative national security angle.

As a CSPAN caller said this morning, no other country in the world treats its illegals so generously. He said he was from South America and that an illegal Ecudorean in Mexico is treated like a pariah. Only in America are we such stupid chumps. And our President is the biggest chump of all.

And, apparently some of them need hearing aids and classes in reading comprehension.

Sen Stabenow is against the bill (per her office 5 minutes ago).

Debbie is a bellweather vote — she normally votes as she’s told by the Dem leadership. This indicates to me that the Dems have abandoned ship.

Sen. Levin’s phone lines are jammed this morning — gee, I wonder why (/sarcasm)

Sen. Charles Grassley (R.-Iowa), says the “worst mistake” of his career was voting for a 1986 bill which honestly included the word “amnesty” in its language. That why he is now an opponent.

Another reason why we need term limits for Senators. Grassley's had 21 years to help fix the problem and he's done nothing.

THE POWER OF THE PEOPLE WON!

Now keep the pressure on to build the entire FENCE. Secure the border! ENFORCE “ALL” the laws on the books including DEPORTING when found law. SANCTION employers who hire ILLEGALS heavily. Get rid of the demand for the jobs and ILLEGALS will leave.

VOTE ALL RINO’S OUT IN ‘08!
