Here is an update on Norm from the Washington Times:

Sen. Norm Coleman, Minnesota Republican, said he plans to vote to proceed with the debate, but expects another 60-vote showdown on another parliamentary maneuver, known as a "point of order." Mr. Coleman said if the bill is not changed to his liking by then, he could join in voting to block it.

Didn't Voin acknowledge on Hannity last night that he, Voin, hadn't even read the darn thing yet?

In fairness, no Senator is going to actually read any bill in its entirety. The staff is supposed to do that and prep their guy to be able to talk intelligently. Which V's staff obviously did not do.

So far Feinstein has told me that:
a) The calls and emails etc. are going to be spun back as 'threats' made by all of us cave people who don't understand whats being done for us. And,
b) if this bill does not succeed there will be no action taken by congress on ANY immigration bill in the foreseeable future (Because 'no individual element will get 60 votes').

So, folks,
"They" know what is best for us,
They intend to stone wall anything incrementally if they fail in this,
They already have the cover story written (it was Bush and the Neanderthals),
And, 'bipartisan' means done in secret to be passed by fiat.
