Here we are again my friends, hopefully for the last debate thread on this particular monstrous legislation. Proceedings are supposed to begin at 9:30 a.m. EST, with the cloture vote being taken at 10:30 a.m.

On a personal note, you've all been wonderful in your passion, vigilance, and commitment to the principles on which our country was founded. If I have to be in a foxhole, I want to be in it with you guys.

If this bill does die you and countless others of us have achieved something pretty remarkable. This was a direct coup attempt by the Establishment to take all power on this issue away from the people. The people rose up and have a chance of stopping them in their dirty little tracks.

But we should know this: Hell hath no fury like a Senate scorned. The Fairness Doctrine will be pushed through now with some GOP support. We're not supposed to speak up you know and we must be quieted...
