Miers is more conservative than O’Conner. Unfortunatelly, she is not conservative enough for the base.
No, she is not. What scant record she possessed, was revealed as at least on par with O’Connor. From her affirmative action vote back in Texas, to her PC stance on Christimas cards to her liberal speeches. Speeches, btw, as well as her senate questionaire that were a complete embarrassment of thought not unlike o’Conner’s hard to decipher writings. She failed a basic competance level let alone failing to indicate a proper Judicial philosophy.
Nor can you prove otherwise. If you could, you’d have provided evidence to prove your statement.
Give it up.
You lost, you were wrong, you are still wrong, you will always be wrong about this and nothing the few like yourself remaining have to say will change that reality.
Go ahead, continue to argue this point. You can’t change what happened and you won’t prevent us from contesting another nominee should they fail to be competant and not possess the proper Judicial philosphy. We’ve learned from the past failures such as Stevens, Souter, O’Connor and kennedy just as we’ve learned from these amnesty shams. you don’t have the power to restore that naivety we once possessed. Thank God.
