Nasty time of year too.

People will be passing out left and right if they don’t get it going soon.

It’s got to be hot on those trains. Hopefully the AC is working.

That's what I meant by "nasty day." It's hot and humid in NYC, as well as down where I am in Alexandria, VA. I went for a short walk to get lunch, and I was dripping with sweat when I got back.

It’s a real hot, muggy day in New York. I am sure ConEd is up against it supplying the demand.

I just read the power on the east side of Manhattan from 79th to 106th just went out. Bwa ha ha ha! 79th is where Bloomberg lives! Bwah ha ha ha! Last year in Queens where I live my power was out for a week before Bloomie said anything about it. Welcome to the club Bloomie, buh wah ha ha ha!

Power Outages Affect Much Of Upper East Side

(CBS) NEW YORK CBS 2 HD has learned there are reports of numerous scattered power outages stretching along the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Con Edison confirmed the outages, but could not estimate how many businesses and residences were affected.

The affected area appears to stretch from 79th Street to 106th Street.

The Transportation Authority reports that they also experienced a power dip. Trains stopped and went into emergency brake form.

Power is not back, but there are still delays. Train lines affected were the 6, E and V trains

Power is not back, but there are still delays.

Do you think that's a typo and they mean "power is now back"...otherwise the sentence makes no sense.

There’s been MAJOR trackwork for the last five months or so, the system’s old and finally getting alot of attention.
NYC is doing great, can’t say I’d rather be anywhere else.
