It seems strange that no one ever questions the status in the Church of Ted Kennedy or John Kerry. Guliani’s support for abortion is tepid in comparison and both Kennedy and Kerry have actively sought funding for abortion. I am certain that when Teddy Kennedy goes to the great gin mill in the sky he will be buried with full rites in the Church with at least a Bishop if not a Cardinal presiding.

“It seems strange that no one ever questions the status in the Church of Ted Kennedy or John Kerry.”

I know what you are saying, but remember that this is a liberal rag t.p. substitute. Normal people question murder supporting pols all the time. Also keep in mind that the Church hierarchy are simply fallible men when it comes to enforcement of Church teaching, unfortunately this is all too obvious.

It's been questioned plenty on FR. I can't answer as to whether the church has done so or not.
