I’m not a liberal and never have been one. But you are bound and determined to repel everyone who doesn’t agree with you on every issue. Excellent way to try to win!

I’m also not going to try to introduce you to reality, because you want to believe what you want to believe.

Are you trying to get rid of any and everyone who disagrees with you? That’s too bad, because honest debate (look into it some time) is a great way to hone your arguments.

Well, I guess between the time CP closed its doors and the time you came back here to push a liberal pubbie for president, you missed the edict from JimRob (you know, the guy you used to bash at CP) - that FR will not be a platform to promote pro-abort candidates. Or liberal candidates.

And regarding honest debate, calling abortion a minor issue shows you are not the least bit interested in honest debate. Just bashing a core conservative principle.

And the fact that you act like there is only one departure of Rudy from conservatism shows you are interested only in spinning. Here's a hint - others came, called others Cindy Brady, bashed conservatism, and acted like only one thing was wrong with Rudy and that isn't a big deal anyway.

They ain't here any longer, so you might prefer to join them in their new home over at Wideawakes.

Sorry, but I’ve never bashed Jim Robinson or conservatism. Nor have I ever tried to promote any “pro-abort” candidates. That’s probably not the best basis for you to talk about honest debate.

Let me pose a hypothetical to you:

If an unnamed candidate supported abortion, supported allowing illegal aliens to remain in this country, had filed lawsuits to stop the sale of firearms and supported giving homosexuals the right to have a “union” that resembled marriage, would you say that the unnamed candidate was a conservative Republican or a liberal Democrat?

And here’s some reality for you regarding Hillary. Who is the last non-incumbent Democrat who had never been president who was the “clear frontrunner” the year before the nomination to actually win the nomination and go on to win the general election?

Sorry, but I’ve never bashed Jim Robinson or conservatism.

Funny, I heard otherwise about your stint on CP. And calling abortion a minor issue is bashing a core conservative principle - you basicall are saying that opposition to the killing of 30 million children is trivial.

Nor have I ever tried to promote any “pro-abort” candidates.

You're promoting Rudy. He has perfect ratings from NARAL. Helped them raise funds as well.

That’s probably not the best basis for you to talk about honest debate.

You wouldn't know honesty if it fell on your head.

You heard wrong. And I never bashed any “conservative principles” — disagreement isn’t bashing.

But at least you’re consistent.

Nor have I ever tried to promote any “pro-abort” candidates.

Who said THIS?:

"But if the ultimate choice of the woman - my daughter or any other woman - would be that in this particular circumstance [if she had] to have an abortion, I'd support that. I'd give my daughter the money for it."

And would you say that the above statement is MORE or LESS pro-abortion than these statments?:

"I have met thousands and thousands of pro-choice men and women. I have never met anyone who is pro-abortion. Being pro-choice is not being pro-abortion. Being pro-choice is trusting the individual to make the right decision for herself and her family, and not entrusting that decision to anyone wearing the authority of government in any regard."

"I think there are too many abortions in America. I think there should be much more adoption in America."

Calling abortion a minor issue is bashing and disrespectful to pro-life activists who often turn out in droves to help GOP candidates.

But you Rudy boosters never see it that way.

I asked what an important issue was since she considers the slaughter of 50 MILLION Americans to be “trivial” but received no response.

Again, I don’t see that as bashing, just disagreement. I don’t do anything to harm the pro-life cause or wish it to fail, but it’s just not a major issue to me.

Well, it is a major issue to a lot of GOP voters and key swing voters (such as pro-life Dems in Ohio who crossed over to vote for Bush in 2004).

But go ahead. Call their concerns about abortion trivial. That will surely convince them to support Rudy.

So I see. And it’s a shame that our own are trying to take each other down instead of turning that on the left.

I see you are channelling Lindsey Graham by calling critics of the immigration bill bigots.

It's what the few remaining Bush-bots like you are reduced to.

This from someone who said the concerns of pro-lifers are trivial.

The "R" after his name doesn't make Roody any less a leftist than it would if he were a 'Rat.

Nobody called you a bigot. Pretty thin skinned are we? What is it like to go through life angry and full of hatred all day long?? Is that what it takes to be a “conservative”?
