I was always under the impression censorship is when the government keeps speech down.

Frankly, I think the name-calling pointed toward the Commander in Chief is fodder for ZOT consideration. Perhaps the AM disagrees. Nevertheless, I'll express my opinion as much as I can in the forum.
I think my record of being an independent thinker on this forum speaks for itself.
BTW, not that it matters, but your definition of censorship is slightly askew. There is government censorship, but that does not define the concept of censorship generally.
A teacher can censor class discussions for example. (and they frequently do)
