READ: Psalm 101
I will behave wisely in a perfect way. . . . I will walk within my house with a perfect heart. Psalm 101:2
Officials in Philadelphia were astonished to receive a letter and payment from a motorist who had been given a speeding ticket in 1954. John Gedge, an English tourist, had been visiting the City of Brotherly Love when he was cited for speeding. The penalty was $15, but Gedge forgot about the ticket for almost 52 years until he discovered it in an old coat. I thought, Ive got to pay it, said Gedge, 84, who now lives in a nursing home in East Sussex. Englishmen pay their debts. My conscience is clear.
This story reminded me of the psalmist Davids commitment to integrity. Although he made some terrible choices in his life, Psalm 101 declares his resolve to live blamelessly. His integrity would begin in the privacy of his own house (v.2) and extend to his choice of colleagues and friends (vv.6-7). In sharp contrast to the corrupt lives of most kings of the ancient Near East, Davids integrity led him to respect the life of his sworn enemy, King Saul (1 Sam. 24:4-6; 26:8-9).
As followers of Jesus, we are called to walk in integrity and to maintain a clear conscience. When we honor our commitments to God and to others, we will walk in fellowship with God. Our integrity will guide us (Prov. 11:3) and help us walk securely (10:9).
Nothing could be sweeter than your baby picture this morning, Billie. I have been on those political sights all morning

Good Morning MEG. It wasn’t that long ago that you all were having a drought. We’ve been low on rainfall for quite a while now, it’s like the front just sits over Texas and won’t move east anymore.
Meg, I just tried to sit on my patio for a moment and it is so smothery. We need some more rain. We went for 3-4 weeks without mowing because the grass was burned. My granddaughter brought some friends swimming yesterday and I walked up there a few moments and nearly died. Of course, I didn’t have my bathing suit on......think I will swim this afternoon because when the cold winter comes I will have regrets. As I have gotten a bit older I don’t swim as much but I am going to change my ways! (I’m ashamed of my body!) LOL~~~~~By the way, your little rain boy is cute.
Last year I was praying for rain..The lakes were low..We were in a drought. Lakes are now above normal, and we keep getting more rain.. Very unusual. We only had 2 and 1/2 inches in 24 hours..Marble Falls((Hill Country..south) got 17. Wish we could move it over for you!
Good morning, y'all. Happy Warm, Fuzzy Wednesday
Thank you, jaycee..Enjoy getting in the pool..Wish I could share the rain with you...We’ve had plenty for now!
Awww..
I’m going to take a nap..Perfect weather for it,too.
