With the announcements by the Islamic Regime of impending gasoline (petrol) rationing, the last few days have seen long lines of upset citizens at gas stations throughout Iran. As supplies dwindled, tempers flared till this evening/tonight upset crowds set fire to some 50 gas stations in Tehran and tens of thousands of protesters marched from the eastern part of Tehran called Tehran Pars to Imam Hossein street.

Thanks. Copied picture but wonder as to date of it. Much of the refining capability has deteriorated and Iran has been asking for clunky Chinese technology to improve the three main gas refining areas. The others may still exist on paper but no longer at previous capacity.

There are few feelings as sinking as going to the gas station, finding there is none available for miles, and realizing how much of your life truly depends on gasoline. You won't go anywhere because what little is in your tank is it - use it up, you're stuck there. Some very base fight/flight/survive feelings kick in very hard.
The text in lower right makes me believe it is 2004.
I have read about all 9 at other sources, but some of them are small.
