Since John Edwards is such a calculating person, who has made his multi-millions by manipulating emotions of gullible people to win personal injury suits, I can’t help but think this call from Elizabeth Edwards is something out of Mr. Edwards’ playbook. It’s really pitiful when a man feels the need to hide behind his wife and children.
Anyone that would think otherwise is very, very naive....Edwards is now a "veteran" of national campaigns, and he and his wife both know not to utter a word without approval.
