Wake up and smell the roses.

Coulter is popular because is essentially the only person the right to not only stand up to you emoters, but to dispatch them.

Both sides.

Start paying attention.

I get it. Thanks for posting the article. I hadn't really started reading Ann yet in 2003, but knowing her style, it makes perfect sense why she'd say what she did.

And of course, the Breck Girl's husband (well, if John is the Breck Girl, would that not make...never mind) and his lapdog, Chrissy, twisted those words, as well as those from Ann's "Godless" book, where they keep saying she meant "all" 9/11 widows, instead of just the four harpies who were cutting campaign commercials for Lurch, and hiding behind their husband's death to give them cover for their politicking.

How about this: if widows of husbands killed by terrorist attack can campaign, let's allow the active military to campaign also. In uniform. After all, without them, we have no freedom to vote for whom we choose anyway.

Oh C'mon, I'm just fooling around.

Seriously, I've noticed you dropping in on FR for years now, posting something provokative, and when the inevitable (& deserved, IMO) return fire is received, bemoan at length the lack of intelligence & civility on FR.

Why do you keep coming back? Why not just find another board more suited to your intellect & temperment?

I would point out that I made a comment about AC, and then any comments toward others that may perceived as “not so nice” are in direct response to personal attacks.

You know, she does make sense most of the time. I think she could do so - AND tear people new ones - without being so abrasive. In fact, that would probably be even more hilarious.

Truly - my problem with her relates solely to her attitude. And it’s probably more a symptom of me being fed up with all the venom on both sides, and around here between folks who are supposed to share common goals.

It’s like your family, or mine. Are all of your family members part of the same political ideology? Do you insult them, or call them names, or belittle them?

Of course not - they’re your family.

And coworkers? Are they all of the same political makeup? Do you fill all your work time trading insults at the expense of productivity? If you do, I guarantee you won’t be employed much longer, or the company won’t be in business much longer.

That’s what I am talking about, and why I have become as sick of AC lately as I have been the rabid liberals for years. Someone earlier made the comment that the liberals had the market cornered on hate.

That’s hardly the case anymore. Now we are stooping to their level. And things can get even less productive than they already are(n’t).

Is that really something to be proud of?

She (Ann Coulter) has absolutely nothing productive to offer - only catty comments, and self-absorbed rants.

And the substance of E. Edwards patronizing self-ebasing moan was?

That's right; NOTHING! Just like your post.

Facts don't matter to Ann haters but the AP (AP!) story Ms. Edwards Asks Coulter to Stop Attacks By MIKE BAKER, Associated Press Writer Tuesday, June 26, 2007 reported that Coulter was mimicing Bill Maher saying "people wouldn't be dying needlessly" if Vice President Dick Cheney had been killed in an insurgent attack in Afghanistan.

How many besides sfgate.com included the whole story when they printed the AP article? Mr. Mike Baker is not a mere employee of the MSM he's a reporter!"

Coulter: "Okay so I made a joke, let's see, six months ago, and as you point out, they've been raising money off of it, for six months, since then."

Matthews: "But this is just yesterday morning, what you said about him."

Coulter: "I didn't say anything about him, actually, either time."

From mediamatters.org:
Good Morning America's Chris Cuomo interviews Coulter, promotes Godless

Syndicated columnist and right-wing pundit Ann Coulter appeared on the June 25 edition of ABC's Good Morning America, asserting that she "wouldn't insult gays by comparing them to [Democratic presidential candidate] John Edwards."

Coulter added that at "about the same time" as the March 2007 Conservative Political Action Conference, where she said that she "can't really talk about" Edwards because "you have to go into rehab if you use the word 'faggot,' "

HBO host Bill Maher "was not joking and saying he wished Dick Cheney had been killed in a terrorist attack."

Coulter continued: "So I've learned my lesson. If I'm going to say anything about John Edwards in the future, I'll just wish he has been killed in a terrorist assassination plot..."

Ha,

It is precisely her abrasiveness that endears me to her.

You can take that wimpy PC BS and shove it. Ann does just that, regularly and right up their collective anal canals.

We are literally in the fight of our lives, and for the lives and future of our offspring.

Ann Coulter is riding Point right now, cuz it appears that there is no leading man who has the sac to do what she does, and in a most excellent fashion.

Pat Buchanan writes some good stuff, and he speaks well, but he is a bit too gentlemanly, and he has been successfully marginalized by the crazies in the media.

Another liberal drama queen.

Did you get enough attention yet?

What did you expect coming on a conservative site and attacking Ann Coulter, that we would agree?

Nah. Just poking the hornet’s nest a little, I guess - and seeing how many folks that were worried about their masculinity would make silly/childish comments like yours.

Sounds like mama edwards runs the show, while the breck girl continues to comb his hair.

You can guarantee “The She-male” Edwards was sitting next to his wife panting in anticipation of watching her destroy Coulter. They couldn’t have set up Coulter any better. Funny as hell.

Matthews has singlehandedly lost Holy Cross, Fordham, and Villanova significant amounts of money. When he gave the graduation speech at Holy Cross in 2003, my uncle, a Holy Cross alum, stopped giving money to Holy Cross. When he gave the graduation speech and received an honorary doctorate at Fordham, my father, a Fordham alum, stopped giving money to Fordham. When he gave the graduation speech and received an honorary doctorate at Villanova, my other uncle, whose daughter went to Villanova, stopped giving money to Villanova. He’s a one-man donations-buster.

Gosh, I completely agree with you agreeing with me, but couldn’t you have signed up just a bit sooner before making friends?

How sad is it that conservatives continue to read from the new testament while the libs read from the old in regards to political debate.

Edwards nor the 9/11 bimbos are off limits from any attack just because they suffered a tragedy. If that was the case, everybody is off limits

You'll probably just ignore this again, but to Q1 - yes, Q2 - no, but this is like an outsider calling your family member a name and you taking the stranger's side. It's more to me as if I was disowned and kicked out of the house.

Exactly, she didn’t attack Edwards either time.

Edwards is a coward, who has played the victim card for money.

Oh, a writer/talking head talked about me! She was mean! Boo Hoo.

Coulter has taken more crap from liberals on this “conservative” website, than Edwards has in his entire political career.
