BULL! If Senator Brownback is opposed to amnesty, as he claims, then he should be opposed to any attempt to bring any bill of this sort to a vote at all.
Brownback sold us out today and is completely unfit to serve as a Senator, or President.
He voted for cloture, will vote against the bill itself and then claim, “Hey, don’t blame me, I voted against it.”
These arrogant SOBs have very, very much underestimated us.
Brownback has pixxed on your shoes and is now trying to tell you it’s rain.
Brownback is an idiot. Amendments can’t fix this bill.
And even if they could, they’ll just be stripped out in conference. Or, as Ted Kennedy said, they’ll be repealed as soon as a Democratic president gets in.

And just how long does Brownback expect this resriction to stay in force once America is flooded with 12 or 15 or 20 million newly minted faux citizens who will immediately vote to help themselves to it?
Just how long will it be before our current system of a socialist-lite (Republican) and socialist (Democrat) party is replaced with a system of a socialist oligarch and Communist party, just like they have in Mexico?
And just how much does he think America will be able to help third world countries once we are pulled down into the same sewer?
WEASEL WORDS. A vote for cloture is a vote for amnesty, and Brownback thinks he is going to have it both ways.
I am in favor of not only ousting all Repbublicans who vote for this bill, but if it is revealed that the White House has made pork deals to Senators, I hope GWB gets what he deserves.
Would this be the same Huckabee who said it was cruel to deny illegal aliens access to public welfare in Arkansas?
