Stevens is a RINO, that woman is far from the brightest bulb in the light fixture.

And in Louisiana...

Landrieu: No!
Vitter: Hell No!

Extremely proud of Vitter, and his outspoken stance on this issue, and surprised at Mary’s vote. I spoke to a member of Landrieu’s staff who told me her phones were ringing off of the walls.

For once, I am proud of you, Louisiana!

Road map of who needs to lose their primary in ‘08, ‘10, and ‘12. Of course by then, the damage will be done.

Never never forget. Not only the traitors who actually voted for this piece of self destructive trash legislation but we also need to remember the weak sisters who are straining at the bit to facilitate the presence for law breakers to depress wages. These people do not value citizenship, obeying the law and American values and to them the only foundation of American ideals is to make every extra buck possible by hook or by crook.

We need an overhaul of the Republican Party.

From NC:

Sen. Whatshisname
Submitted by ryanteaguebeckwith on June 26, 2007 - 1:26pm.
Tags: Brent Woodcox | Elizabeth Dole | Republican Party | Richard Burr | Under the Dome

The N.C. Republican Party is praising all but one of the state’s national Republicans.

In a press release issued this afternoon, the party noted that it “stands with” Sen. Elizabeth Dole and the state’s Congressional Republicans in their “commitment to defeat any immigration bill offering amnesty.”

Any attempt to deal with the complex question of immigration without addressing and implementing a strong border policy first is a recipe for failure.

Conspicuously absent from the release: Republican Sen. Richard Burr.

Brent Woodcox, a spokesman for the party, said that it has held the same position against amnesty for illegal immigrants “from the very beginning.” He declined to say anything further about Burr.

“I think the statement speaks for itself,” he said.

Can anyone answer this question: I am wondering if people who followed the process, paid all the fees, waited for years, etc. to become citizens have standing to sue in order to be reimbursed for that which they were made to pay, but is being offered to others gratis? Maybe equal treatment under the law or something like that? I would sure be angry if I went through a long and expensive process and this happened. It is remindful of that assignment or test one stayed up all night to complete for the due date, only to have the slackers talk the teacher into delaying or cancelling the test/assignment. All that effort for naught makes one feel like a fool for trying to do it right.

It’s a slap in their face. But those people merely have a desire to subscribe to American values in the fullest sense and are of marginal importance to the new world order of cheap labor (cheap to the employer, not to the taxpayers).

Watching the Senators on C-Span, several things occurred to me.

Senator Feinstein was carrying her purse and looked very much like a nursing home patient I had seen a few months ago, in the alzheimer’s ward. She was apparently confused as to which clerk was actually taking the votes, this after all those years on the floor.

Then it dawned on me—this group of seniors and soon to be seniors are mostly in various throes of the long slow process of dementia. This one with perhaps Lewy body syndrome, a form of dementia, that one with Alzheimers. So many of the comments they have made make so little sense. “The president mispoke” just this morning when he said it was amnesty. Excuse me. Mispeaking is a word or two reversed or used inappropriately. His was an entire sentence. The beginning of a long process of mental deterioration.

Then there was the little “prayer group” that stood with their heads slightly bowed as the vote tallies finalized. They reminded me of an off ramp beggar I saw yesterday that crossed her heart every time she received a donation. All for show. All nonsense.

Johnny McCain “There may be riots if we don’t pass this.” All those years in solitude have not fared well for you, my deeply respected war hero. It injured your body, and now is apparently taking it’s toll on your mind.

So it would be easy to merely say “Traitors all.” But having dealt with an alzheimer’s victim, I recognize the early signs of cognitive diminuation, and it is surely rampant among this group. We must deal with it.

Great. The Dem in Missouri says NO and the Republican I helped elect is the one saying YES. Is it naive to believe they are throwing this one up to shoot it down?

Actually, the illegal immigrant crowd in So Cal pushes the legal workforce up north.

How’s that for rationalizing?
