Left the dead wood standing?...brilliant move!
The whole Tahoe basin is filled with dead trees. I can’t remember the percentage but it’s something like three live ones to one dead one. It’s disgraceful. The antithesis of “forest management.”
But it was...was...was natural!
Just like lightning strikes.
And forest fires...
We’ve got the same problem here in Western Montana. We can’t cut down dead trees killed by bark beetles because of the greenie wacos also known here as the Friends of the Bitterroot. Makes no sense.
