No, I have one in the Bimmer, but it sits idle ... Neither does the wife. Radio only, and mostly talk radio at that. Sorry.
Listening to and controlling a car-docked iPod is no different than controlling the radio... in fact, they’re done from the same panel. Which is my entire point.
You exaggerate and/or imagine the difficulties related to controlling an iPod in the car.
You mean like when the early cell phones came out??? And look what today's phones can do for the same $.
I just don’t need or desire anymore gizmos with a bunch of bells and whistles I’ll never use.
Then you are not the target consumer. But there are literally millions who ARE - and many will eventually buy an iPhone.
I am intrigued by the iPhone - and I suppose if I had an unlimited budget, I might buy one. But I have a young family, and responsibilities that do not allow such free spending.
