For me, IBS is set off by consuming rice - raw or processed.
Have you had your DNA analysed? Haplogroup 'V' people have some problems with grains. Haplogroup 'V' are mainly Sa'ami (Laplanders) people. My mother was a haplogroup 'V' person.
