I don’t know if anyone remembers Skaggs one of the 1st discount stores way before Walmart. These people were unbelievably corrupt always undercutting other businesses. For example, a designer brought out a new fragrance. The department store ran an ad promoting it exclusively. They knew Skaggs could probably obtain it black market; but asked them not to promote or sell in good faith until they had brought it out. Of course, Skaggs reneged on their agreement and ran an ad discounting this new fragrance the same day. These have been a few of my experiences with the Mormans. I really don’t mean to imply they are all that way.
There are always bad apples in any group. I’m sorry you had to meet some of ours.
I’m not a Mormon, but at least try to spell it right.
Look up bigot.
You must have just had a really bad experience. I know many, many Mormon families and they are some of the most kind, considerate and real family oriented people I’ve ever known.
You bring up Romney’s Mormonism amongst the all the fawning. Good for you, somebody needed to.
I am of the opinion that if Repubs nominate Romney, they’ll rue the day. So far, his Mormonism hasn’t come under scrutiny. Rest assured it will be.
And once the wacky beliefs of Romney’s Mormonism are brought out into the full light of day, it is really going to get embarrasing. Not embarrasing for Romney, he, like most Mormons, count it a badge of honor for their religion to be scrutinized. It’ll be embarrassing for the rest of us Repubs.
To get an idea of what I am talking about, and what is ahead of us if Romney is nominated, everybody take a look at the FR thread, “Romney: attacks on Mormon Religion troubling.” Getting close to 500 posts on it last I looked.
