“Can’t tolerate, “exclusivity” in military no matter how many die at the hands of the enemy, can we.”

Only as long as those dying at the hands of the enemy are not the POLITICIANS.

If only America had allowed the Indian Army to move in there. Only IA has both Sikh and Gurkha regiment and their combined strength is more them the entire British army.

I’d like to see both the Sikhs and the Gurkhas unleashed on the Taliban.

Don’t the Sikhs have a rather long history of fighting Islamofacism?

“GREAT Britain”

There is no such country as Great Britain, it is the name of an Island. Much the same as Honshu being a component of Japan, or Java being Indonesia.

Well, duh.

I guess I knew that there was "no such country as GREAT Britain" but was simply referring to that which the former once great "British Empire" became known as collectively.

The country is, of course, England, which is also known and written and spoken about by the learned (including them) as "Great Britian," so please excuse me ....... and have a nice day.

“The country is, of course, England,”

Er no its not, the country is United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, commonly truncated to the United Kingdom or the UK. England is only one component country of the Union, the others being Scotland, Wales and Nortern Island. The Island of Great Britain as distinct from Lesser Britain, a region of France, consists of Scotland, Wales and England.

Most people in the United Kingdom describe their nation as The UK not Great Britain.
