I don't think that intimidating candidates' kids is a way to encourage the best and brightest of Americans to seek a career in public service.

It's not like she's a child when this happened. She was a young 20s carer woman, who took a leave of absense to insert herself into the situation.

This also was not a typical case, unlike the wacko left wing nutroots who will on a rountine basis scare your small children. Seen it in DC and in CA.

They also tried to make the boy a victim too. He was high school senior (or so) and it's not like the kid was going to be intimidated. And if I recall correctly, a football player too.

But using people is a liveral thing and using them as victims is all too common.
