Your comment about a lot of hunters don't want the meat, or just a steak or two is total BS!!!!!!!
Hunters are the best self regulated sportsmen their are. We pay more fees that benefit wildlife than any government agency contributes by far. Before you speak and spread more untruth about hunting and hunters you should really try and figure out what you are talking about!!!!! I'm a life long hunter, Hunter Safety and IBEP Instructor.

It is not a problem of hunters wanting to abandon a carcass, it is that just a lot of people can’t haul a heavy-ass carcass two or more miles back to where their vehicle is located, and can’t drive to pick it up.

You have to admit that it is not an easy task to haul 130lbs of deer any great distance. Especially when you have your rifle and all your other gear with you.

This is not a responsibility issue. If by making a phone call, I could get some big guys to haul a carcass a long way for me and still get some prime cuts out of the deal, well heck.

I do not like deer meat at all. I have tasted it 100 different ways and still couldn't eat it.

For this reason I do not hunt deer. I couldn't hunt and kill something that I could not eat.

I have a friend, humblegunner, who has a lease and I enjoyed going up there and working during the off season building stands, clearing trees, cooking huge steaks and getting hammered.

But no hunting for me even to give the meat away.
