It must be profitable to badmouth the President. There are people who love to hear anything bad about Bush; it is music to their ears. They are conditioned to love to hate Bush; it is an addiction. The advertisements support the nonsense and if the people were not buying the products advertised during the badmouth Bush sessions, they would quit. It must be what someone wants to hear. There is a reason for the Bush bashing and it must be profit.

The same people who insisted that President Reagan was a sleepy but affable dunce, have to believe that President Bush is not only a dunce, but also a crook. How else could he be living in the White House except by stealing the election from Gore! If they accept that Bush is legitimate, then they have to accept that he might be entitled to be president, and to make executive decisions.

Their hatred is essential to their self-image. So if they, reporters, share some positive news from the President with their audiences, they feel that they have betrayed their core values. Some reporters are on record saying that reporting positive news from the DOD or State Dept or White House Press representative is considered to be spreading propaganda. I am not kidding you!
