Shep has an interesting and often funny turn of phrase. The thing is, he seems totally devoid of analytical skills.

Also, his opinion is getting more and more heavily salted into the news, usually with very unattractive sarcasm.

You have hit on the answer, as far as I’m concerned.
He resembles Hannity to me, in the way he gets on a topic
and just beats the hell out of it. He has a better delivery
than Sean, but I see a comparison to them both.

Sean is too dead pan, with an elementary style of acting.
