*Sigh*, this again.
Riddle me this:
Would you consider Mr. Anton LaVey's religion an issue if he were running for president?
(Anton LaVey - Author of The Satanic Bible, founder and High Priest of the Church of Satan.)
Enosh, once again this a futile exercise!
A Satanist has an anti-social worldview. A typical Mormon’s political worldview is identical to a typical Evangical worldview. Therefore voting against a Satanist or a true believing Jihadist is justified whereas voting against a Mormon whose worldview is purely bigotry based on a fantasy that God would care. In fact we have evidence that Jesus showed that it is perfectly acceptable to respect those in political postions even if they maybe herectics or heathens.
Then again, I could be mistaken about your motives. Do you wish to go against the Jesus of the New Testament then?
> Would you consider Mr. Anton LaVey’s religion an issue if he were running for president?
No. There would be plenty of other good reasons for disqualifying Mr LaVey as candidate for POTUS. Religion would not play a role in my decision.
Mate, you either believe in your Constitution or you do not. Would you have the same objection to Romney if he were, say, a Jew rather than a Mormon? If so, why? If not, why not?
“Would you consider Mr. Anton LaVey’s religion an issue if he were running for president?”
If he were a liberal (which I can only assume a Satan-worshiper to be), then no.
Find me a conservative Satanist, then we’ll talk.
