“Jesus also told people that if you Dont believe Moses, you wouldn’t believe Him, either.”
But didn’t Jesus also say that Moses was wrong about a few things, like divorce, remarriage and adultery? I don’t know anything about what mormons believe, but there is room, given what Jesus said on this issue, to believe that a lot of the old rules and teachings didn’t really reflect God’s will.
Jesus boiled all the Commandments down into just two:
“And He said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the great and foremost commandment. The second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets.”
I’ll buy that and I’m a Mormon.
