Another misrepresentation. We are directed to do good works, but they are not required for salvation. Faith in Christ alone does that.
The LDS do not disagree one does not have to do works to be SAVED!
But the LDS do believe we must allow the Lord to edify us and we exercise to strengthen our abilities that Lord gave us by obeying his commandments by doing the Lord’s work in righteousness and that is only achieved when we are in the spirit of the Lord.
The Spirit of the Lord is something you can’t always see, or smell or taste when doing his will, but will feel the warmth of the Lord when a job well done!
