6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
I find this verse particularly amusing for a Mormon to use in defense of his church. 1800 years after Christ a new gospel was made up by a huckster in New York. He slept with the wives of his followers, lied to his congregation about the adultery and polygamy, and 170 years later the followers of Smith quote Galatians 1:6 to defend their “Johnny come lately” religion not even realizing that theirs is “another gospel.”
Spot on. Good post. However, you should have included the Galatians verse in context. Think of the (alleged) angel Moroni, upon which the whole of Mormonism is based:

7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
8 But though we, OR AN ANGEL FROM HEAVEN, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
No mystery as to why Mormons have Moroni on their graves rather than the cross.
Still trying apply that 34 AD angel to the LDS in 1800’s AD
As I said before many do not read carefully that conversation was happening while Paul was receiving a revelation from the Lord Jesus Christ, it was a current even in 34 AD it has nothing to do with 1800’s AD.
If we listen to the mainstream we still be waiting for Rev. 14:6 to be fullfilled
6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,
7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
