As I see it, and I’m just a flyover country yokel, God created the cosmos and the life therein -the design, if you will, in seven periods of time. If the ancient Hebrews were trying to give a science lesson in Genesis, perhaps I am too doltish to see it. There is much beauty in the Bible, but little of chemistry, aerodynamics, antibiotics or music theory. Still, though, I have found it to be a continual source of wonder and an insight into the nature of tyranny. To learn logic and biology, Aristotle might be a good starting point.
