It's been a long time since my research days but I think this is unethical.

Merck was to test it this spring on 100 Japanese girls, 9 to 11 or 12. I haven’t checked if they did that. The girls tested in several countries were all 16 to 25.

If memory serves, this was tested on women who found
it caused menstrual pain, and therefore
it is being forced on younger girls in the hope
the side effects will be averted.

As to longterm oncogenic effects, what if that
takes 10 to 20 years?
