What’s interesting is that at one time (100 years ago or so) the US was the world’s China. Child labor, massive pollution, etc were part of our dynamic industrialization.

Yup, it is. And what is so funny is so many people are just fine with that....like Al Gore and Sen. Boxer. I have a video of a recent hearing where she practically demands that China be mentioned no longer.
