Well as I posted earlier they probably don’t have the votes yet and that’s why the cloture vote keeps getting postponed. But no doubt there’s arm twisting going on though I don’t know how this White House manages it given the 26% approval rating of Bush and the overwhelming hatred of this bill by all sides.

Also, they are going to have to make sure all the pro-amnesty presidential candidates (who need to be out of town a lot these days) are there when they vote. That could make it complicated:
McCain,Brownback,Hillary,Obama,Biden,Dodd,Edwards. Did I forget any?
