I do not think people that are mentally ill should have guns, for example people that suffer with manic depression but this could open up a huge can of worms.

What about the guy that went through a depression problem back in 1982 because of job loss, should he be banned from owning a gun?

What about the many liberal physicians, are they going to say that none of their patients can have a gun?

Should they also be denied free speech,freedom of religion,right to petition for redress ,right to counsel.Where does the creeping destruction of rights end?Quartering soldiers in times of peace?

Most likely they will expand this to automatically include anyone who has been on an anti-depressant.

That would cut alot of the population out right there.
