anytime you would like to get out there and hit the streets and defend the rights of others and help those in need, you do. maybe you just one of those back seat drivers huh? swoop in to down the ones that protect you and come to your aid when you need them! its wrong that this has come to this. one who serve his city and our country so idiots like you can bash him! wake up people. this ain't the garden of eden. when you got to wear a vest, gun, asp, pepper spray and some cuffs, it ain't your normal 9 to 5 job. walk in the shoes of and officer and feel and see what they do and then pass judgment. you can only imagine a small part of the risks involved. God bless our soldiers who protect us on our soil and foreign!!

In case you didn’t notice, I am on the side of the officer who is being charged by some sorry prosecutor. I know what all of you out there defending us do - a really super job. How do I know that? My son is one of you, a man who wears a badge proudly, who works with the community, who helps keep the peace and protect the rest of us. Before that he wore the uniform of the US Marines and served from the Far East to the Middle East.

I know too about prosecutors like the one there in Atlanta who, for whatever reason, probably for votes and who knows what else, is out to persecute this officer. It is no different than what Nifong tried to do to the LaCross players in the Carolinas. I see something similar happening to some officers closer to home here.

I suggest next time you read the replies and the links in the thread before blasting away.
