Which Fred is Running for President?
GreatMindsThinkRight ^ | 6/21/07 | JB Williams

I probably know more about Fred Thompson than any other candidate, which is why I worked with my reader base to help draft Fred into the ‘08 Presidential race. But that doesn’t mean that an honest concerned American doesn’t need to ask the right questions before climbing fully onboard any political train today.

If Jesus Christ himself were running today, we’d have to ask the same questions in light of today’s deception and corruption filled arena of national politics, especially if Jesus is now a member of CFR. So, though I’m thrilled that Fred Thompson has answered the people’s call to run, I’m still waiting to see which Fred is going to run.

"I didn’t realize Hunter had protectionist leanings. He isn’t anti-trade, but I wouldn’t call him pro-free trade."

IMO, he focuses his trade votes very much on defense--especially for avoiding wars in the future.

"Have you fenced yourself in yet?"

There's no need. But I will be watching the cities glow from a distance, after our enemies launch their gratitude for our liberaltarian "free trade" buildups of their communist nuclear military forces.

"I find this comment interesting. So it is your intention to get FR pared down to members who only support Duncan Hunter? I like Hunter, but you may end up talking to yourself."

That definitely not my intention. Here's where I'm coming from.

During the late 1970s, when young, dumb employees joined unions to avoid the option of being fired, employers made employees sign oaths swearing that they weren't communists.

Now the descendants of those employers are funding communist military buildups with their businesses in communist countries, preferring foreign communist engineers in education, employing hordes of communist/fascist singles who hate the USA, calling it "free trade" and deceiving our nation with rhetoric to keep it going.

If they weren't so much into "free trade" with enemy nations, sanctions could possibly work. Yet the same lobbies are behind our preference for talk and sanctions (and for continuing to buy oil from Iran, along with keeping the oil flowing to their preferred European motherlands), while they shout at our politicians to keep our military forces out of Iran.

And former enlisted US combat soldiers are treated like enemies in the US workplace.

I'm for national cohesiveness, but it appears that's not going to happen again. Our nation is too spoiled, feminized and involved in entertainment pursuits during the first few pops of a world war.

Nixon started the “favored nation” trade status business. Democrat traitors only took up where he left off. And after all of these years, China is aiming many nuclear missiles at us and building a navy to control ocean routes. China’s proxy nations (N. Korea, Pakistan, Iran,...) keep us entertained in the meantime.

And what of our next vainglory against our defense? ...super-duper-carriers?

I’m in favor of free trade with friendlies, immigration for those who will give allegiance to our nation and assimilate (even east Indians), and employment without labor unions. But our lawyer/business party masters won’t even let the dollar adjust internationally. They just had to get more indirect control over the Fed. (re. their whining about the Fed. around 2000) and run a bunch of foreign propaganda campaigns to keep the dollar too high. And they can’t stand any thought of domestic competition..

As for politics, do we have a two-party system or a two-gang system?

"That’s because you posted half-truths out of context and everyone here knows it."

I posted lists of items from his voting record. The rhetoric is coming from your herd. And don't bother with the bandwagon approach.

"Yes, anyone who questions St.Fred is a troll...."

They're setting him up to lose against the Democrats. They'll chew him up on the issues and his past. They're wanting J.C. Watts as his running mate to put people in southeastern states off.

The last thing that Libertarians want is for others to tell them to abandon their vices. They'll gladly accept a Democrat president and more anti-family social programs before they'll accept a moral conservative. I saw many of them individually advocating for more bureaucracy for lawyers, psychologists and social workers for over ten years. They'll do anything to make the labor pool larger and keep casinos going.

The election is just short of a year and a half away.

Most of the early birds are choking on their worms.

Give it some time.

Maybe some time after he announces he is running he will start giving out the information.

Things change so much in this day and age in a short period of time.

If any of the other candidates are naming their cabinet at this time, I would ponder whether or not those people will even be in politics when the race for President actually starts.

Thompson may just be an ex-senator and an actor, but he seems pretty smart. He hasn't squandered any time in senseless debates as many other johnny-come-earlys have

Thompson did support Campaign Finance Reform (CFR). He however is talking about the Council on Foreign Relations, the globalist think-tank based in NYC.
