C-Span cameras were at the conference and covered parts of it but not the taped Savage speech.

Howard Mortman got that wrong. Last Friday Brian said they were not C-SPAN cameras. C-SPAN just tied into them.

So why did not C-Span broadcast the speech Savage provided on DVD? His speech indeed was part of the program that C-Span covered. Why do they not just broadcast the Savage speech I ask? What game are they playing?

I would have liked to see his speech on C-Span. It looks like they are making hay from their not presenting it. Do you not agree?

So you think its OK for C-Span to censure his speech? Why can they not show a previous taped exception speech? I cannot recall one time when C-Span was covering an even and as soon as they saw the tape the did not show it. A few times I tune in I usually see an event where they run a tape. It is hog wash, and you are buying it hook,line and sinker.

Oh one more thing. For C-Span to say they are not funded by tax payer money is a complete joke. I cannot recall ever seeing a fund raiser for C-Span. What B.S.! Now I have seen it on PBS, but not C-Span.

What this is about is the political cowards in Washington wanting to pretend that Savage does not exist. The guy has the third largest Talk show. Think of the time slot he has. If he was up against Rush, then he would smoke his numbers.

Anther thing are you suggesting that when C-Span covers an event they never show a video that is being ran at the event? I have seen it so many times its ridiculous to believe that no one knows this. Then again how many people watch C-Span compared to the other networks.

So now that we know its not policy for C-Span to automatically edit out video when played at events. You have to ask them WHY did they not show the video of the biggest award that night. Its called Political Cowardliness.
