Relationship with God is a personal thing. I don’t attend much church and I can 100% attribute that to the fact that my father is a Baptist Minister.
I saw the poster on hypocrisy, both in him and in the fine leaders of the churches he pastored.
Doesn’t mean I don’t love God. Doesn’t mean that I don’t love my country. Doesn’t mean I’m not conservative.
I am not surprised that he does not attend (or rarely). What bugs church people is these politicians pretend when they need votes that “I’m just like you”. Did anyone really believe Thompson was into that? I will vote for him for his positions on things I care about.
