Does anyone here want their faith questioned because they don't fill out an attendance card or otherwise attend services regularly? I quit attending and contributing because of the abuse of the political system by most major church organizations. There might will be a larger number of truly faithful people not attending church than there are in regular services.
The leftist Christian bashers will awfully disapointed to learn that a good Christian with stong moral principles does not have to go to church every sunday.
And then there are rotten Christians that go to church every sunday (especially around election time- right J F'ing K?) how have no moral principles at all.
I go to a church of Christ every Sunday. We don’t have attendance cards.
Also, what church doesn’t frown on divorce? He was probably married in the United Church of Christ because that was his wife’s church. That’s the way it usually works, huh guys?
For those who don’t know, the churches of Christ do not have a governing body. Each church acts independently, so to say that the church wouldn’t let him get married is just incorrect.
I’ll bet Fred’s been in church more in the last 5 years than the guy who wrote this article.
