Woo Hoo... my second favorite race of the year (besides Bristol)... NASCAR learns how to turn right!
What I like about the road courses are that they are kind of a link to NASCAR's history - NASCAR proudly proclaims that it evolved from moonshiners outrunning cops, and last I checked, those little county dirt roads are not one big oval.
I also think it takes a helluva lot more skill. Most people that don't like them, I think, probably don't like them because their guys don't do too well. You look at guys who do well on road courses like Jeff Gordon and Tony Stewart - those guys can drive any car on any surface. Hell they could race lawn mowers on ice and do well.
